đź’ˇ Building the Future of STEM in Appalachian Ohio!

On Wednesday, October 14, educators, school leaders, and community partners gathered at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center in Cambridge for the Appalachian STE(A)M Collaborative, Setting the Course for the 2026–2027 School Year.
The day brought together passionate partners to share ideas, explore innovative approaches, and strengthen connections that support students from early learning through career readiness.
Highlights included a keynote from Dr. Sandra Wilder, Director of the Ohio STEM Learning Network, panel discussions on the importance of STEM designation and innovation, and breakout sessions focused on career connections, STEM learning, industry-recognized credentials, and building pathways from the classroom to future careers.
By working together, we can create stronger partnerships between schools, employers, and communities, helping students discover opportunities, develop real-world skills, and prepare for successful futures right here in our region.
Thank you to everyone who participated and continues to champion STEM education and career-connected learning across Appalachian Ohio!
